Desmond Burke of Summerland, B.C., a former longtime member of the Worldwide Church of God and 17-year employee of the Church of God International, died Sept. 12th, 2004 after a long battle with cancer.

Mr. Burke had been a member of the United Church of God since 1995. He is survived by his wife Jean.
