Catherine Turner Arbogast, 67, of Kennesaw, Ga. died on the Sabbath of Aug. 21, 2004. Cathy, as
she was known to everyone, was born Feb. 17, 1937, in Atlanta, Ga. She was baptized in November 1964 and, having set her hand to the plow, Cathy never looked back. Her faith never wavering,
Cathy's trust and confidence were always in our Savior Jesus Christ.
Finally, with her body ravaged by colon cancer, she had to give up the life she loved so well, and she died peacefully
as she had lived, with grace and dignity. Cathy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Darl Arbogast, who still resides at Kennesaw, and one daughter, Lisa Markland, who lives nearby with
her two children. Cathy believed firmly that there is a time and a purpose for everything and that God makes no mistakes or has any accidents, that He is firmly in control. She awaits the
resurrection and the time when she can begin completing His purpose for her.
Cathy stated just before her death, "When I open my eyes again, that's when the action starts." Until then she
will be sorely missed. |
