Betty Biedler, 81, of Gladewater, Texas, died July 5, 2002 after suffering the past few months with complications of a kidney
condition. Mrs. Biedler, a longtime church member, worked in various positions at Ambassador College. Among those, she served as executive
secretary for Raymond McNair, deputy chancellor in Pasadena, Calif., and later assisted Dr. Wilmer Parish at the health center in Big Sandy. Mrs. Biedler loved to prepare and entertain with cultural dishes, sharing them with students and others, utilizing the experience she had gained from her travels abroad and her earlier
service as part of the U.S. diplomatic corps. Funeral services were in Gladewater July 17, with Arthur Suckling, a longtime friend and associate, officiating. Burial was in Gladewater Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Biedler is survived by two sons, Dan and
John, two daughters, Mary and Karen, and several grandchildren. |
