Obituaries Julius Dayton Milholland of Springfield, Mo., died Feb. 17 due to leukemia and associated complications. He is survived by his wife, Linda, sons Steven and his wife Elena, Lonnie and his wife Yvette, and daughter Denise and her husband Mark Jones, all of Springfield; brother Fred and wife Betty Milholland of Bedford, Texas; brother Jerry Milholland of Aurora, Ill.; brother Charles and his wife Rita Milholland of Bearden, Ark.; brother Melvin and wife Shirley Milholland of Fayetteville, Ark.; and sisters and brothers-in-law Peggy and Charles Wells of Monroe, La., and Barbara and Mike Mudge of Belle Chasse, La. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Nicholas and Ashton Jones, and Kelsey, Hunter, and Colton Milholland, all of Springfield. Funeral services were held at Greenlawn Funeral Home, South on Feb. 20 with Pastor Kenneth Register officiating. Treasure Schneider, 6 years old, died Feb. 14, 2002. Funeral services were held on Feb. 19 in Bismarck, N.D. Ronald Dean Wallen, 56, died Feb. 8, 2002, in Valdosta, Ga. Mr. Wallen was born July 1, 1945, in Canyon, Texas. He was a minister, Worldwide Church of God. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claud Wallen and Alta Scheu, a brother, Ed Wallen, and a sister, Phyllis Veale. He is survived by a loving family: his wife, Rosemary Wallen; two children, Ginger Sorg of Monroe, Ga., and Brandon Wallen of Jackson; five brothers, Dwayne Wallen of Seattle, Wash., Bob Wallen of Aptos, Calif., Don Wallen of Phoenix, Ariz., Tony Wallen of Buford, Ga., and Chris Scheu; sister, Pamela Diechert of Sliverado, Calif.; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
