Iris Pearl "Snookie" Tipton of Big Sandy, Texas, died July 3. Mrs. Tipton was born Oct. 14, 1923, and was a member of the Church of God for many years. She is survived by her husband, Chesley, sons Dan Tipton and Tom Tipton, daughter Joy Garbs, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were conducted by Dave Havir at Hoover Cemetery, Big Sandy.

Leo Antion of Bridgeville, Pa., 97, died July 19. Mr. Antion was the beloved husband of Freda Marie (David); cherished father of David (Molly), Gary (Barbara), Wayne (Jasmin) Antion and Pamela (Stephen) Hart; brother of the late Elizabeth Deep and Sam Antion. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
