John Dickson
The police informed me of the death on Dec. 22, 2005, of John Dickson, aged 65, of Windsor, N.S.W., Australia.
John was born in Ireland, joined the Royal Air Force, migrated to Australia and joined the Worldwide Church of God around 1975. Following the upheavals of the former WCG, John lived his remaining years alone, but had an association with the Christian Biblical Church of God. John contacted me around
1996, greatly distraught, and since then we regularly spoke by phone. I met John only twice, the last time being in the hospital only a few days before he died in his sleep at home. I remember John as a sincere and honest man who insisted on truth, which got him at times offside with the ministry.
John Jordan of Colyton, N.S.W., joins me in praying that God grant us to meet John Dickson in His Kingdom.--Henk Jens, hwj@zip.com.au. |
