Council elders hear members' appeal

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn.--Two members of the council of elders of the UCG-AIA flew here for a Dec. 20 meeting to question Tim and Hope Lindholm of Minneapolis as part of the Lindholms' appeal of their 1997 suspension from attending the Minneapolis UCG congregation. The council members were Gary Antion of Mississauga, Ont., Canada, and Roy Holladay of Hawkins, Texas. Mr. Antion said the hearing was to gather information, not to make a decision, and that the full council would decide on the Lindholms' request to come back to Sabbath services during its meeting in January in Tyler, Texas.
