Notes and quotes Heart to heart FORT WORTH, Texas-Tenor Roger Bryant and his pianist wife, Lyna Jane, are releasing a music album, in CD and cassette-tape format, in time for the spring feast days. Heart to Heart includes "The Holy City," "I'll Walk With God" and nine other "sacred vocal solos," said Mr. Bryant, who teaches voice at Texas Christian University here. Global gospel efforts SAN DIEGO, Calif.-The Global Church of God has released statistics on its efforts to proclaim the gospel. The World Ahead is on 87 television and radio stations (including public access) in 12 countries and receives about 800 responses a week. The telecast has brought in 107,000 responses. On average, one person per week without a WCG background is being baptized as a result of the telecast. Global has 8,000 brethren meeting each Sabbath in 276 congregations and video groups. SMI application CHARLESTON, S.C.-The group that wants to buy Ambassador University and establish Southern Military Institute on the Big Sandy, Texas, campus has applied for a mortgage with a financial institution, SMI spokesman Sallie Baldwin announced. "Once the application is approved, then we will move to negotiate the actual purchase of the campus with the Worldwide Church of God," she said.
